Mrs P Speare — Head Teacher
I joined the school in 2002. Before that I was a headteacher in Hertfordshire. For the last three years I have also been a School Improvement Partner working for the Local Authority on a very part time basis. I have worked in Education for so long that I have taught all the junior and infant age groups and gathered a lot of experience. I am glad to be able to say I have enjoyed all the different phases of a long career.

I joined Raglan 25 years ago and have had a variety of roles from music specialist to class teacher and currently deputy head. Prior to this I taught in secondary schools in Hertfordshire and a primary school in Haringey.

Mrs G Bailey — Teacher
I have been teaching for 10 years in Barnet and have just joined Raglan Infant School in September 2009. I am currently teaching in Reception. In addition to being a class teacher, I have responsibility of co-ordinating Literacy within the school.

I have been a teacher at Raglan Infant School for a very long time ! I have taught in all year groups, but at present I am the Reading Recovery Teacher.

Mrs P Brennan — Assistant Welfare OfficerI have worked for the school since 1984. I started off as a lunchtime assistant and when the welfare ladies retired, I took on the role as I had a First Aid Certificate. I also came to this school as a child, as well as my children.

I have been at Raglan Infant School since September 2008 and I teach in Year 1 for two days a week, sharing the class. I have taught Nursery, Foundation and Year 1 and 2 classes in London and previously worked as a full time class teacher in south and east London.

I became a teacher at Raglan Infant in 2001 and have taught in Years 1 and 2. As well as being a class teacher I have been the PSHE subject leader for 3 years and in addition, have recently taken over RE.

I joined Raglan Infants in 2002, having worked in a number of Enfield Primary schools. At present I am part of a job share. In addition to being a class teacher I have responsibility for the School Library. I am also a School Governor.

Mrs L English — Teacher
I started my teaching career at Haselbury Infant School. I have worked in several schools in the borough of Enfield and have been at Raglan Infant School since 1987 teaching mainly in Nursery and Reception age groups.

I have been associated with Raglan School since 1986 when the first of my 3 sons attended here. I began in 1994 as a TA and have been Senior TA since 1999.
I am responsible for support staff in school. I work across the year groups taking both classes and small groups of children.

I joined raglan Infant School in 1994 as a Teaching Assistant. Slowly with my knowledge of computers I developed my role as an ICT Technician within the school. I am responsible for maintenance of all the ICT equipment in the school. I also support children as well as staff with the ICT Curriculum.
