At Raglan Infant School we aim to provide an atmosphere and environment where children thrive.

Within this environment effective teaching and learning can take place and high standards gained.

To assist in achieving this aim, a clear Behaviour Management Framework has been established with a clear set of procedures for managing all behavioural issues.

Individual effort is valued and individuals are encouraged to develop self discipline and a sense of their own worth.

Teaching is centred on these principles, which emphasise what we want children to do rather than emphasising what we do not want them to do.

We are a large Infant School where every child is significant and individual. Staff and Governors together create an environment where children can feel secure, happy and motivated to learn; there is a sense of belonging; mutual respect is strongly fostered.
